Platform-Specific Rules

Platform Key certification requirement
Tizen (Samsung) UI safety zone margins, HDCP compliance
webOS (LG) Remote navigation completeness, memory limits
Roku Channel certification checklist, performance guidelines
Fire TV Amazon appstore content policy, IAP integration
Android TV Google Play TV requirements, Leanback guidelines
Apple TV App Store Review Guidelines ยง4.2, tvOS HIG

Tip: Run this checklist on physical devices, not emulators. Smart TV emulators do not replicate remote input lag, memory pressure, or DRM hardware behaviour.
